WhatsApp Business’ Beta Version Has Start Rolling Out to iOS Devices

Last year, WhatsApp has introduced its Business app for Android devices, dedicated to small companies, and now is about to start rolling out its beta version to devices using iOS. The Twitter account WABetaInfo was the first one to report the company’s plans to launch the WhatsApp Business app on Apple’s mobile operating system.

WhatsApp Business introduces features useful for businesses

According to the Twitter account we’ve just mentioned, the process of rolling out the WhatsApp Business app on iOS has begun on Friday. The app introduces some different colors of background and numerous messaging tools created for businesses. WhatsApp Business can be installed on iOS 8 and all later versions of the software. Once launched, the app will display a notification that reads: “WhatsApp Business is a simple, secure and reliable way for businesses to connect with their customers”.

Users can transfer their WhatsApp Messenger chat history to WhatsApp Business

Before we can start using WhatsApp Business, we have to accept the app’s terms of conditions. Once we select Agree and Continue, the app will offer us a chance to migrate our chat history from WhatsApp Messenger to WhatsApp Business. In case we decide to go ahead with the transfer, all the chats will be logged out from WhatsApp Messenger.

The next step will be to create a business profile, and once the configuration is done, we will be able to take advantage of various messenger tools that are said to be highly beneficial for businesses.

WhatsApp will soon offer extended control over groups

Some recent reports stated that WhatsApp will soon introduce a new feature that gives us more control over the groups, allowing us to decide who can add us to a group. We will be able to choose one of three options: Everyone, My Contacts and Nobody, which will surely make the groups less irritating.
