Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Arrives Next Week with Snapdragon 660 CPU

Redmi Note 7 is going to launch next week and we have gathered everything there is to know about the upcoming smartphone in order to give Xiaomi fans an idea of what to expect. Right from the start, Manu Kumar Jain who is the Global Vice President of Xiaomi posted on Twitter hinting that the smartphone is going to be priced at Rs 9,999 which converts to $140 This is a super competitive price and other tech companies are going to have a difficult time competing against Redmi Note 7.

Affordable Price, but Not Specs

Even though the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone is super affordable, Xiaomi fans shouldn’t be fooled by the price and think that Redmi Note 7 is just another entry-level smartphone. Redmi Note 7 is actually a high-end device that features a massive 48MP primary camera. This is not the type of specs that one would expect to see on a $140 smartphone.

Highlight Features

Redmi Note 7 is going to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 processor that is paired with a 4,800 mAh battery which can last for days on end. To make things even better, the smartphone is expected to ship in two variants. One variant will feature 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage space while the more expensive variant will ship with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage space. We think that both variants of Redmi Note 7 will support microSD cards.

The new Xiaomi smartphone is also going to feature Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4.0 technology for fast charging and a USB Type-C port for fast connection. Another cool feature that Redmi Note 7 will offer is the classic 3.5mm auxiliary jack for headphones. The last thing that we want to cover is that Redmi Note 7 will be equipped with a 6.3-inches display that uses the new “dewdrop-notch” design.
