Google Play Store Gets a New 13.4.11 APK Update

Android fans should be happy to know that Google has released a new update for their favorite service! The Google Play Store can now be updated to the 13.4.11 build number with the latest update that arrived earlier this month. Google knows that the best way to start a new month is to get a new update. Nonetheless, let’s check out everything there is to know about this latest Google Play Store update.

Android Package Kit

Before we get into what kind of software tweaks and bug fixes the new update brings, we need to talk about the fact that it comes in the form of APK. This acronym stands for Android Package Kit and it is the format that Google uses whenever it releases a new update. Therefore, the new update can be manually downloaded and installed from Google’s official website right now.

However, Android fans who don’t want to bother with having to manually download and install an app on their smartphone can always wait for the update to be released OTA (over the air). On the downside of things, we don’t know how long Google is going to take until it decides to do this.

What’s New?

Just like it is the case with all new Google Play Store updates, this one is packed with a bunch of software tweaks and bug fixes that improve the service’s overall system stability. The Google Play Store is used to download apps and to automatically update them which makes the new APK update a top priority.

If a bug were to affect the Google Play Store, then all third-party apps and games would stop running and receiving updates. While most Android users might not care about software tweaks and bug fixes, we have to note that they are actually quite important and that we advise all Android users to get the new Google Play Store 13.11.4 APK ASAP.
