There are lots of things that separate the Android and iOS operating systems, but the most important difference is the rate at which Google releases updates. One of the best things about using an Android powered smartphone is the fact that you will be first in line to all of Google’s software updates which are released every other week. In fact, the reason why Google is making headlines today is because the Android parent has recently released a new update for the Google Play Store.
Google Play Store Update
As we all know by now, the Google Play Store is one of the most important features of the Android operating system. The Google Play Store is the place where all Android users go to whenever they want to download a new app or game. However, there is more that the Google Play Store does such as automatically updating third-party and native apps for example.
Nonetheless, a new APK update for the Google Play Store has arrived a couple of days ago and it changes the feature’s build number to 13.3.13. Since this is an APK update, the update needs to be manually downloaded and installed from Google’s official APK website. Also, Android users who are interested in getting the new update are required to enable the “Unknown Sources” since the update will not arrive from the Google Play Store.
Bug Fixes
The reason why all Android users who are willing to install APK updates should get the new one for Google Play Store is because it introduces a handful of bug fixes which enhance the Google Play Store’s overall software stability. In addition, Android users who don’t want to manually install the update can always wait a couple more days because Google is eventually going to release it OTA (over the air).
