Samsung Galaxy S10: A Major Battery Upgrade Has Been Confirmed by Samsung

It looks like after years of waiting, Samsung’s fans might finally get what they were asking for: improved battery for their smartphones. Based on some recent news that we’ve just come across, the new changes that Samsung has just teased could attract many potential buyers.

Samsung has disclosed the Galaxy S10 battery capacities

The recent news that we’ve just discovered was first spotted by SlashLeaks. It seems that the South Korean company has publicly disclosed the Galaxy S10 series’ battery capacities to ANATEL, which is the National Telecommunications Agency of Brazil. Since we all know that Samsung likes to tease, as it has done before with the Galaxy Note 9, the company knew that this news will soon be brought to the surface all over the world.

There’s been also a recent post on Twitter, made by well-known leaker Ice Universe, that gives us the details of upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy S10 Plus’ battery capacities. The entry-level Galaxy S10 Lite will get a 3,100mAh battery, while the Galaxy S10 Plus is expected to come with a 4,100mAh battery.

From what we can see, the larger model of the S10 lineup, Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus will be equipped with the largest battery that the tech giant has ever put into a Galaxy S smartphone. As far as the Samsung Galaxy Lite is concerned, it will get more than enough capacity to have a pretty good battery life.

We will get to know more about Galaxy S10 quite soon

Samsung is expected to unveil its Galaxy S10 lineup on the 20th of February in San Francisco, during its annual Unpacked event. Given the fact that we are not far from that moment, we expect more and more details about the upcoming smartphones to be disclosed in the near future.
