We have some amazing news for Android fans today! The Android parent has decided that time has come for the Google Play Store’s features and software stability to be enhanced and it has released a new update. The latest update for the Google Play Store has been released and all Android fans who want to make sure that the service is running at peak performance levels should make sure to get it as soon as possible.
Google Play Store 13.3.16 APK
Since this is Google that we are talking about, no one should be surprised to find out that the new update is available in the form of APK. This update format is an acronym that stands for “Android Package Kit” and therefore, Android users are the only ones who get to access it. Although, we should also mention that it’s going to take at least one week before the update gets released OTA (over the air).
APK updates need to be manually downloaded and installed on smartphones, but not before enabling the “Unknown Sources” option which can be found in the Settings panel of all Android powered smartphones. The reason why Android users are required to enable the “Unknown Sources” option is because the update is not coming via the Google Play Store and it can be directly downloaded from Google’s official APK website instead.
What’s New?
As it is the case with all new updates, the latest APK for the Google Play Store comes with lots of goodies. These goodies are a handful of bug fixes and software tweaks that are going to take the service’s performances to the next level. With that said, all Android fans who love using the Google Play Store in order to download apps and games should make sure to get the new update anytime they can.
