Apple did a great job in 2018 by releasing iPhone XR, XS and XS Max. The three iPhones took the smartphone industry by storm and Apple has earned the title of becoming the world’s first trillion dollar company! Therefore, the question that is sitting on everyone’s minds right now, is what can Apple do this year to top the release of iPhone XR, XS and XS Max? Well, according to the latest reports about iPhone XI it looks like Apple wants to use new antennas that will feature support for the newest generation of Wi-Fi.
iPhone XI – New Antennas
The latest news about iPhone XI is showing that Apple wants to improve the Wi-Fi signal and connection speed that its next-generation flagship smartphone is going to offer. Barclays reports that iPhone XI will ship with support for Wi-Fi 6 (ax). This is the latest version of Wi-Fi and it will feature faster internet speeds than usual.
While the addition of Wi-Fi 6 (ax) support might make it seem like Apple is focused on delivering faster internet speeds, this is not the case. Apple is not going to equip iPhone XI with 5G technology and while this might not be such a groundbreaking feature, some Android smartphone manufacturers such as OnePlus will implement it in 2019 and this is going to leave Apple behind.
Triple-Camera Setup
Another exciting iPhone XI rumor is saying that Apple’s next-generation flagship smartphone will feature not one, not two, but three cameras that will be mounted on the rear side! iPhones are known for their impressive cameras and from the looks of it, iPhone XI is going to take things to the next level. “Three cameras may help take better photos, enabling the device to collect more light and color information, or could have applications for augmented reality,” said Ming-Chi who is a renowned tech analyst.
