One of the best things about being an Android fan is the fact that you get access to a constant stream of updates that Google releases on a weekly basis. The Android parent is renowned for always looking for new ways to improve the already premium user experience that its operating system offers and this is one of the most important things that sets Android apart from other operating systems. In fact, the reason why Google is making headlines today is because it has just released a new update for the Google Play Store.
Google Play Store Gets a New Update
Everyone who owns an Android powered smartphone should be happy to know that they can access a brand-new Google Play Store update. This update sports the 13.1.31 build number and it’s available to download directly from Google’s official APK website. Since this is an APK update that we are talking about, we need to let all readers know that APK updates need to be manually downloaded and installed on a smartphone, but not before enabling the “Unknown Sources” feature.
What’s New?
The question that you all must be asking yourselves now that you know Google Play Store has received a new update has to be what’s new? Well, the answer to that question is bug fixes and software tweaks that are categorized as “under the hood” because even though Android users can’t see them, they will feel them because they improve Google Play Store’s overall performances.
With that being said, we advise all Android users to get the new update as soon as possible. Although, we need to mention that Google is also going to release the update OTA (over the air) so getting the APK version is not a necessity. However, it’s going to take a couple of weeks before the OTA update releases.
