In the recent past, Samsung has been releasing Galaxy Note 9 Android Pie beta updates very often and quickly. Now, in addition to earlier upgrades, the tech giant is rolling out the fourth update for users in South Korea, Germany and India, with other countries expected to join them very soon.
The fourth Android Pie beta update
According to a recent report by SamMobile, the most recent update will upgrade the current version of software to N960FXXU2ZRLT. The three earlier updates of the Android Pie beta have brought a number of new features and OS fixes, such as the latest One UI.
Although many users hoped that the third update will be the final beta before the full version of Android Pie is released for Galaxy Note 9, it looks like Samsung wanted to address some key issues that were affecting the beta testers, including the touchscreen issues.
The latest update addresses touch-related issues
Amongst the touch issues that the fourth Android Pie beta update addresses is the problem with hard home button presses, which are not being registered while using navigation gestures. Also, it fixes the issue with the stock keyboard, which does not respond in the bottom right of the Note 9 screen.
How to download the most recent Android Pie beta update?
Downloading and installing the fourth update of Android Pie beta is not hard and all those who wish to get it will have to follow just a few simple steps:
- Go to Settings and select Software update
- Tap Download and Install
- You can also access the update through the Samsung Members app
Those who do not want to be part of the beta test will not have to wait long for the release of the full version of Android Pie, as it is expected to become available for Samsung Galaxy Note 9 users sometime in February 2019.
