Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra Will Get the Android 8.1 Oreo Update

At the moment of its launch, Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra was running Android 6.0 Marshmallow and until this point, the device has only been upgraded once, to Android 7.0 Nougat. Even though other phones are already running the latest android version, Android Pie, it’s still great news to see that this smartphone is getting an upgrade.

Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra is one the company’s flagship phones and it was one of the first devices that featured a 6.8-inch full HD IPS display with a 4K TV Grade image processor. The dimensions of the smartphone are 184.4×93.9×6.8mm and its weight is 233 grams. The device has a screen resolution of 1,080×1,920 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:9.

When it comes to its camera, Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra is equipped with a 23MP main primary rear sensor and an 8MP secondary sensor at the front, which is supposed to be used for selfies. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor. The device comes in two variants of RAM: 3GB and 4GB, and there are three options available for internal storage: 32GB, 64GB and 128 GB.
