Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ Comes with Android Pie Build and New Changes with Fixes

Samsung is working hard on the Android Pie update. The company has just released a new beta update for the Galaxy S9 and S9+ smartphones. Owners that live in France, UK, Poland and Germany can download the new update. At 324MB it is not very big but it packs a lot of fixes.

Samsung wants to perfect the update as the global released date, set in January, is rapidly approaching. For now only those that have joined the beta program can download and install the updates but a global release window should be presented soon.

A variety of bugs have been tackled. Read below for a list of selected highlights from the changelog.

Important note: For those that have joined the beta update program, it is important to keep in mind that the installation may sometimes fail. Samsung advises users to back up their data before they attempt to install the update in order to prevent any unwanted problems.

Users from other countries should receive access to the update in the following days.

The new Android Pie update will also bring the One UI, replacing the aging Samsung Experience. The revamped UI has been previously seen in action and it looks very good.

It remains to be seen how the stable update will perform when it will be finally available.
