One of these devices is the Realme 2 Pro, an amazing handset with awesome specs. Although it boasts with slow-motion video and other high-end improvements, the handset’s users won’t get to see how the latest version of Android works on their smartphones.

This is not surprising, if we consider that the Realme 2 is waiting to receive the most recent Android update available for the Indian market, ColorOS 5.2. Technology is evolving in a heartbeat and new operating systems are necessary to support the changes

There’s no doubt that the Realme 2 Pro will be updated to Android 9.0 Pie and we know that this will happen in 2019. This information was confirmed by a Twitter post shared by Realme India’s support team. The big question remains when this is actually going to happen, because users are getting really anxious.

On the other hand, Madhav Seth, Realme’s CEO, suggests that the new Android version might come later in the year, because the company is preparing some spectacular changes for the handset which is currently waiting for a new operating system.
